I am a first-year PhD student in Economics and Quantitative Methods at the University of Genoa. My research interests focus on statistical modelling, particularly in the areas of sport analytics on finance and forecasting.

For now, my research includes the development of statistical modeling techniques regarding the theme of my Master Degree, Moneyball. The aim of my research topic is the implementation of this kind of approach in finance, trying to reach portfolio management optimization. 

I am working on a paper regarding this approach in order to present it at the Conference taken by the Società Italiana di Statistica (SIS).
